Llythyr gan CSYM – Adran Briffyrdd yn dilyn cais yn ystod cyfarfod Medi er mwyn gosod terfyn cyflymder o 20mya ar Lôn Bwlch/Lôn y Glyn o gyffordd y B5108 i gyffordd yr A5025, a Lôn Minffordd tuag at Farianglas o gyffordd y B5108/ Sgwâr Tynygongl at gyffordd B5110, Marianglas.
Dydy’r ffyrdd ddim yn bodlonni’r meini prawf ar gyfer cyfyngiad o 20mya. Fodd bynnag, mae diweddariad i’r ddogfen Gosod Terfynau Cyflymder Lleol yng Nghymru, ar ei ffordd yn 2024. Mae CSYM yn nodi ac yn ystyried y cais gan CCLlME yng nghyd destun y ddogfen ganllaw newydd.

7.2 Goleuo’r Goeden:
- Gan na fydd Band Biwmares yn gallu ymuno, bydd RhMJ yn cysylltu efo Meibion Goronwy a Chôronwy i ddod i helpu efo’r canu carolau cymunedol ar y sgwâr ar noson goleuo’r goeden.
- RhMJ i gysylltu efo’r Benllech Hotel ar gyfer defnyddio’r tu allan ar y noson a thynnu’r raffl yn dilyn y canu ag ati
- IW i gysylltu efo cael disgybl o Ysgol Goronwy Owen i oleuo’r goeden.
- Trafod y Raffl a materion eraill yng nghyfarfod Tachwedd.
7.3 Parcio peryglus ar y ffordd yn arwain i Craig y Don a Waun Dirion
Mynegodd GD bryder am y mater – ceir yn parcio ar y pafin, ar linellau melyn, ac yn creu sefyllfa lle na fyddai cerbydau brys yn gallu pasio pe codai’r angen.

Mr and Mrs Terry elaborated upon their planning application (8.1.13 on the agenda with the adaptation to the original application – 8.1.1). FPL/2023/184 / 12294107 Cais Cynllunio: FPL/2023/184 (force.com) The application has been called in to the CSYM Planning Committee.
The owners were advised to contact the CSYM councillors to speak on their behalf in thaf meeting.

- Road Closure during Remembrance Sunday:
It was decided to close the main roads leading to the square during the two mins. silence only. Closing the roads for the duration on the service would create an inconvenience to the traffic.(Item 9. below).
4.2 Sheree Ellingworth re. grants for Welsh Communal Projects New PO to respond to the message in due course.
4.3. Blachere Illumination re. the Christmas Tree in Benllech Square:
RhMJ/PO to contact the company to arrange.
4.4 Correspondence from Elizabeth Walker:
Because the matter in its entirety is now with Lyn Bell (CSYM), CCLlME are not int the position to respond directly.
However, after investigating the mater of data breach, it is noted, for information purposes only, that the information Ms Walker alludes to didn’t come from a meeting or individual from this body.
4.5 Horizon:
The work to be handed over tho the new PO.

4.10 Application for financial support by Anglesey YFC, Wales Eisteddfod Committee:
It was decided to give £150 to the appeal because the event is held in Anglesey, an is of benefit to the whole community and supports local culture.Proposed: GD

4.11 Appcication for financial support by Brynteg Fair.
It was decided to give a gift of £50 to the Christmas Fairs in Brynteg, Llanbedrgoch and the Chistmas Fair at the ex servicemen’s community hall in Benllech.

In the absence of a PO, money given to the different activities to be used in any way by them.

4.12 Late Correspondence.
Letter from CSYM Highways Dept., following our September meeting asking for a 20mph limit on Lôn Bwlch/Lôn y Glyn form B5108 to junction A5025, and Lôn Minffordd to Marianglas from junction B5108 to junction B5110, Marianglas.
These two lanes/roads don’t satisfy the success criteria for a 20mph limit. But, an update on the document to decide upon local speed limits is expected in 2024. CSYM will consider our request in the context of the new guideline document in 2024.

October’s spreadsheet was passed as correct.In the absence of a PO, SW and RhMJ to manage the November finance spreaadsheet. All payments without a SO will be paid by cheque.
6.Planning Applications
6.1 See. 1 above.

*Declaration of Interest by SW. She vacated the room during the discussion.
CCLlME wish to express concern re. the development for the following reasons:i)Traffic and the narrow nature of the lane from Tabernacl to Tyddyn Sargeant – more vehicles are likely to use the narrow lanes due to more individual houses being constructed in the proposed development.
ii)The area has reached its capacity as regards to purpose built holiday homes.
iii)The application differs from the original purpose of the centre.
iv)The infrastructure in Benllech/Brynteg and Tynygongl cannot cope with more developments.RhMJ to contact CSYM Director of Planning to convey the concern
7. Emmergency Matters:
7.1. Remebrance Sunday, 12.11.2023
Programme and order of service created by RhMJ with the help of Mike Garnett, The drafft has been shared with the body.
- Risk Assessment discussed for the event, and RhO to pass a pro forma to JH and SW to create the above
- The Main Road to be closed during the 2 minutes silence
- RhJ to contact the Fire Service to close the main road and to supply First Aiders
- RhMJ to contact:
- Tesco for clearing the shop’s forecourt during the service
- MAD to finalise the role of the PA system,
- Collect the wreaths,
- Clear the cenotaph Saturday 11.11.2023
- Ask Barbara Price and Peter Day to read parts of the service in English,
- IW to read a poem in English
- Contact Dolen to print the posters and Order of Service
- Dolen to note the new time of the service (10.25am) on Facebook and the website
- Share posters about the event in siops
- JH and SW to create the final risk assessment
- Note that the nearest Diffibrulator is by Gerafon Surgery
- RhJ has received positive response from the Fire Service – the engine will close the main road, and 4 First Aiders from the service will be present.
7.2 Lighting of the Christmas Tree
- Because Beaumaris Band cannot be present on the evening, RhMJ to contact Meibion Goronwy and Côronwy to help with the communal carol singing on the evening (2.12.2023)
- RhMJ to contact The Benllech Hotel to enable us to make use of the outside to sing and to draw the raffle.
- IW to contact Ysgol Goronwy Owen to have a pupil to light the tree
- Raffle and other matters to be discussed in November.
7.3 Dangerous parking on the road leading to Craig y Don and Waun Dirion
GD expressed concern that cars park on the pavement, on yellow lines and are creating a situation whereby emergency service vehicles cannot pass if/when the need arises.
RhMJ to contact CSYM’s Highways Department to express the concern, and to notify them that CCLlME have previously asked for the road from the junction to Waun Dirion’s entrance to display double yellow lines
