PWYLLGORAU WEDI’U CADARNHAU YNG NGHYFARFOD BLYNYDDOL 2026–27 | COMMITTEES CONFIRMED AT THE 2026–27 ANNUAL MEETING
Yn ystod Cyfarfod Blynyddol y Cyngor, adolygodd a chadarnhaodd yr aelodau bwyllgorau’r Cyngor a’u cylchoedd gorchwyl ar gyfer blwyddyn ddinesig 2026–27 | During the Council’s Annual Meeting, members reviewed and confirmed the Council’s committees and their respective Terms of Reference for the 2026–27 civic year.
Pwyllgor Cyllid | Finance Committee
Cytunwyd y byddai’r Pwyllgor Cyllid yn cynnwys Cadeirydd ac Is-Gadeirydd presennol y Cyngor llawn, gyda Sioned Wyn yn parhau fel Cadeirydd y Pwyllgor Cyllid. Bydd Ieuan Williams, Wenda Owen a Gwyneth Davies yn parhau i wasanaethu fel aelodau o’r pwyllgor.
It was agreed that the Finance Committee will consist of the current Chair and Vice-Chair of full Council, with Sioned Wyn continuing as Chair of the Finance Committee. Ieuan Williams, Wenda Owen and Gwyneth Davies will continue to serve as members of the committee.
Cylch Gorchwyl | Terms of Reference
- Sicrhau bod gwariant yn cael ei reoli yn unol â’r gyllideb
- Sicrhau bod balansau’n cyfateb â datganiadau banc
- Paratoi’r gyllideb a’r praesept blynyddol
- Gweithio’n agos gyda’r SAC/RFO i sicrhau cydymffurfiaeth a rheolaeth ariannol briodol
– To ensure expenditure is managed in line with the budget
– To ensure balances correspond with bank statements
– To prepare the annual budget and precept
– To work closely with the RFO/SAC to ensure compliance and appropriate financial control
Pwyllgor Cwynion | Complaints Committee
Cytunwyd y byddai’r Pwyllgor Cwynion yn cynnwys y Cadeirydd, yr Is-Gadeirydd a Chadeirydd y Pwyllgor Cyllid.
It was agreed that the Complaints Committee will consist of the Chair, Vice-Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee.

- Adolygu cwynion brys
- Penderfynu ar ffyrdd priodol ac amserol o ddatrys cwynion
- Sicrhau bod cwynion yn cael eu trin yn unol â Pholisi Cwynion y Cyngor
– To review urgent complaints
– To determine appropriate and timely resolutions
– To ensure complaints are handled in accordance with the Council’s Complaints Policy
Pwyllgor AD | HR Committee
Cytunwyd y byddai’r Pwyllgor AD yn cynnwys y Cadeirydd, yr Is-Gadeirydd a Chadeirydd y Pwyllgor Cyllid.
It was agreed that the HR Committee will consist of the Chair, Vice-Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee.

- Trafod, rheoli a chefnogi gweithwyr
- Goruchwylio prosesau recriwtio
- Cynnal adolygiadau perfformiad
- Helpu sicrhau bod staff yn gweithio mewn amgylchedd diogel a chefnogol
– To discuss, manage and support employees
– To oversee recruitment processes
– To conduct performance reviews
– To help ensure staff work within a safe and supportive environment
Pwyllgor Datblygu Prosiectau | Project Development Committee
Penderfynodd y Cyngor hefyd sefydlu Pwyllgor Datblygu Prosiectau newydd i oruchwylio prosiectau mawr ar ran y Cyngor.
Bydd y pwyllgor yn cynnwys Cadeirydd ac Is-Gadeirydd presennol y Cyngor ynghyd â Rhian Mair Jones, Ieuan Williams ac Sioned Wyn.
The Council also resolved to establish a new Project Development Committee to oversee major projects on behalf of the Council.
The committee will consist of the current Chair and Vice-Chair of the Council together with Rhian Mair Jones, Ieuan Williams and Sioned Wyn.

– To review project plans and proposals
– To monitor project costs
– To liaise with contractors and partners
– To discuss development ideas and opportunities
– To make recommendations to full Council
The committee holds no delegated spending authority.
